Building the Future Today is a tool to reach out to our church and community through financial gifts while expanding our ministries through additional needed space.  The goal is to seek God’s will, committing to give sacrificially over and beyond our regular giving for the next three years, while fulfilling First Baptist Church’s vision: To meet the needs of people with the attitude of Christ.  

Building facts

• Approximately 24,000 square feet of new space for preschool, children and offices.  Including playground space, parking, entry foyer and drive-through canopy.
• Youth center/educational space to accommodate current as well as anticipated future growth of that ministry.
• Improved fellowship and recreation space for all ages as well as expanding adult small group space.
• The Proposal:  A $5.75 – 6.25 Million building program.

How to get involved

You can financial commit through giving weekly, monthly or annually (or a combination of all three) over a three-year period.  The giving period begins Dec. 6, but new comers can join the process whenever they desire.  Some may be led to give non-cash gifts such as real estate, cars and jewelry.
